About this role

As a vital member of our team, you will play a key part in ensuring a safe, seamless and positive shopping experience for customers. Your primary focus will be on maintaining a clean and welcoming store environment.

This includes undertaking various cleaning tasks across all departments and throughout the store using different equipment and products. You will also be responsible for collecting trolleys from in and around the store and carpark, regardless of weather conditions.

We are looking for someone who is physically fit, active and energetic, with a strong work ethic and ability to meet deadlines. A keen eye for detail and accuracy is essential, as well as the ability to set priorities and work independently.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Cleaning tasks across all departments and throughout the store using various equipment and products.
  • Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, scrubbing and buffing floors throughout the shop, team rooms, toilets and offices.
  • Cleaning, dusting and wiping shelving and equipment throughout the store, including team rooms and toilets.
  • Collecting trolleys from in and around the store and store carpark, regardless of weather conditions.
  • Working both indoors and outdoors while working autonomously.

  • A keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • The ability to set priorities, meet deadlines and demonstrate a solid work ethic.
  • The ability to work independently and follow instructions.
  • You'll be constantly on the go, lifting up to 17kgs, so it's essential to be physically fit, active and energetic.
  • Availability for shifts between 5am-11pm, 7 days a week.
  • The ability to travel to work outside of public transport operating hours.
