**Overview**

We're looking for an experienced Cloud Architecture Engineer to join our FinOps team. As a FinOps specialist, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud architectures.

**About the Role**

In this role, you will work closely with our engineering teams to improve our cloud architecture from a cost optimization perspective. You will also be responsible for automating cost anomaly detection at scale and ensuring that our cloud infrastructure is running smoothly.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Design and Implement Cloud Architectures: Develop and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud architectures using AWS services such as EKS, EC2, Lambda, DynamoDB, RDS, S3, or equivalent Cloud provider experience.
  • Cost Optimization: Automate cost anomaly detection at scale and ensure that our cloud infrastructure is running smoothly.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with our engineering teams to ensure that our cloud architecture is aligned with our business goals.

**Requirements**

  • Proficiency in Golang or Python: You are comfortable coding in Golang, or Python, but willing to upskill in either.
  • Computer Engineering Fundamentals: You have deep knowledge and understanding of Computer Engineering fundamentals and first principles.
  • AWS Experience: You have strong knowledge of AWS services such as EKS, EC2, Lambda, DynamoDB, RDS, S3, or equivalent Cloud provider experience.
  • Cloud Architecture Experience: Experience designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud architectures.
  • Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) Proficiency: You are proficient with infrastructure-as-code. We're a Terraform shop, but strong experience with other IaC tools will do the trick.
  • Goal Ownership: Experience owning, tracking, and delivering goals, working both independently and in teams.
  • Mentorship and Collaboration: You can guide and mentor other team members and improve the way we collaborate, learn, and share ideas.
