Public Relations Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned public relations specialist to join our team in advancing and communicating the University's reputation through strategic media campaigns, thought leadership opportunities, and compelling storytelling.

This role is pivotal in building trust, connection, and pride in the institution by showcasing its leadership, innovation, and societal impact.

Key responsibilities include developing and implementing proactive media campaigns, building relationships with diverse audiences and journalists, providing expert coaching and guidance to spokespeople, and contributing directly to the institution's vision and strategic plan.

The successful candidate will be a stand-out communicator and natural connector who can thrive on networking, building relationships, and spotting opportunities to put the institution's expertise and impact in the spotlight.

Requirements:
  • Develop and implement effective media campaigns to promote the institution's strengths and achievements.
  • Identify and leverage opportunities for thought leadership and media coverage.
  • Collaborate with academics and executives to build their profiles and expertise.
  • Manage and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including journalists and industry partners.
