The Creative Matters team is seeking an Academic in Media and Communication to contribute to our teaching and research initiatives. This role involves developing and delivering courses in media production, as well as maintaining and advancing scholarship in the field.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating courses, supervising postgraduate candidates, and contributing to the development of our program. You will also have opportunities to work collaboratively with fellow academics and industry partners to advance knowledge and practice in media studies.

We are looking for an individual with a strong background in media production, including experience with audio-visual software. A research specialisation in public or strategic communication, digital storytelling, media law and ethics, environmental/science communication, media activism, or Indigenous, LGBTQIA+, or community/regional media would be highly valued.
