About the Role

The Section Manager Asset Delivery is a key leadership position responsible for the full range of program delivery functions, including input into the preparation of water and sewerage capital works programmes, preparing cost estimates, undertaking and managing designs, the preparation and management of technical and contract related documentation, implementation of projects, capital program monitoring and reporting, and input to project development and asset management processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and guidance to a team of professionals responsible for the delivery of cost-effective management of capital works, project initiation, design, delivery and handover.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration across other teams and units in the organisation and develop long-term goals and plans to guide the work of your team to align with organisational objectives.
  • Provide quality customer service and create value for the community.
Requirements
  • Degree qualification in Engineering or related field, combined with ongoing professional development.
  • A current Class C Drivers Licence.
  • Proven success as a leader with the ability to grow and develop teams with a focus on quality outcomes.
  • An understanding of engineering principles in relation to the delivery of water and sewerage infrastructure.
  • Extensive direct experience in civil or environmental engineering and project delivery, preferably in a water business related area.
