Landscape Project Manager

This is a unique opportunity to join our team as a skilled Landscape Project Manager, providing specialist landscape project management expertise and contributing to the delivery of various landscape projects in Victoria.

  • Develop sustainable and commercially viable solutions for our communities.
  • Monitor and assess the assets and landscapes of our active and developing communities to identify areas for improvement, upgrades, and maintenance.
  • Manage the handover process from construction contractor to maintenance contractor, ensuring works are being accepted according to our risk profile.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders including authorities, maintenance, and construction contractors.
  • Oversee the maintenance budget and development expenditure budget.
  • Design the maintenance scope of works, draft maintenance contracts, and monitor contractors to deliver upon the works.
  • Support the Project Management team in monitoring contractor performance and workload.
Requirements
  • A relevant tertiary qualification and/or extensive experience in landscape practices, asset management, or contracting.
  • An advanced understanding of landscape practices through design or contracting background.
  • A proven understanding of contract management.
  • Demonstrated commercial/financial acumen.
  • A proven track record of achieving results through influencing and relationship skills.
  • A proven understanding of project management best practice, tools, and techniques.
  • A proven understanding of legal requirements and obligations in the administration of contracts.
  • Experience and understanding of the development construction industry including design, building, and construction.
  • Strong networks of consultant, authority, and contractor stakeholders.
