We are seeking a skilled and reliable Utility Field Officer to join our team in the Shepparton area.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, interacting with the community, and supporting health and wellbeing initiatives.

As a Utility Field Officer, you will be responsible for walking allocated neighbourhoods, taking and recording utility meter readings, and upholding Service Stream's safety standards.

You will work independently, but also collaborate with other team members to achieve targets and provide excellent service to clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately read allocated meter routes in a timely and efficient manner
  • Uphold Service Stream safety standards and represent the company professionally
  • Meet targets and communicate regularly with office support teams
  • Upload/download route information using a hand-held device

About You

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A current valid driver's licence
  • A reliable motor vehicle and mobile phone
  • The ability to learn new skills and work independently
  • Good physical fitness, including the ability to walk, bend, and squat
  • Comfortable working in various weather conditions
  • Flexibility with daily travel of up to 45 minutes each way
  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and attention to detail

Salary and Hours

We offer a competitive salary of approximately $60,000 per annum, paid hourly at $29-$35 per hour, depending on experience. You will work 30-38 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with flexible hours.
