Cafe Supervisor Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced supervisor to oversee our staff, maintain high standards of productivity and systems, and provide excellent customer service.

About the Role:

  • This is a full-time position with day shifts only.
  • The fast-paced environment requires strong communication and leadership skills.
  • You will be responsible for maintaining good working relationships with the kitchen team.
  • Work closely with the owner to ensure seamless operations.
  • You will be responsible for weekly ordering and cash handling responsibilities.
  • General administrative skills are required, with opportunities for training in coffee making and bar experience.

Our Cafe:

  • We offer a Mediterranean-inspired menu with a Middle Eastern twist.
  • Dine-in and takeaway menus are available.
  • Kepos Deli stocks signature dips, salads, and meals for take-home purchase.
  • We use a POS system called Lightspeed, with EFTPOS through Tyro.
  • The owner also runs Kepos Catering and Salma's Canteen, with a weekly stand at Carriageworks Farmers Markets.

What We Offer:

  • We provide staff meals each day.
  • We are centrally located in Kepos Street, Redfern, with bike racks and easy public transport access.
  • It is a short walk from Waterloo Metro, Green Square, or Redfern Train Stations.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1 year supervising experience (preferred).
  • Australia work authorisation is required.
