Cyber Security IT Specialist

At Sustain Recruit, we're seeking a skilled Cyber Security IT Specialist to join our team in Sydney.
The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 per annum, based on the job requirements and location.
About the Role:This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your expertise in Microsoft Intune, PowerShell scripting, and mobile device management, while stepping into cyber security.
Core Responsibilities:- Mobile Device Management: Develop and maintain Mobile Device Management platforms, including Microsoft Intune and Apple Business Manager.
- Microsoft Platform Operations: Build, develop, and operate services across the Microsoft stack - including Outlook, Teams with AV devices, and SharePoint.
- Standard Operating Environment (SOE) Management: Develop and maintain SOE environments on Windows 10/11, aligning with modern standards and supporting SOE evolution through Autopilot for streamlined deployment.
- OS Lifecycle Management: Oversee OS updates, ensuring compatibility, stability, and security of user endpoints.
- Application Packaging & Deployment: Oversee the packaging and deployment of applications using Intune.
- End-User & Platform Support: Collaborate with operational teams to resolve service requests and incident escalations, providing strong support to end-users and the modern workplace platform.
- Security Support & Vulnerability Remediation: Work closely with the Security Operations team to deploy vulnerability remediation using PowerShell and other tools.
- Microsoft AVD Administration: Administer the Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environment, supporting high-demand project teams.
What We're Looking For:
- PowerShell Skills: Strong ability to read, create, modify, and run PowerShell scripts to support automation and security initiatives.
- Intune & Apple Business Manager Expertise: Proven experience in managing Intune and Apple Business Manager platforms.
- Microsoft Stack Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft platform, including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and AV device integration.
- SOE Development & OS Management: Hands-on experience in SOE builds, Windows OS lifecycle management, and deployments through Autopilot.
- Security-Driven Mindset: Experience with Microsoft Defender or Qualys is an advantage, as you'll collaborate closely on cyber security tasks.
- Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD): Experience administering AVD environments to support project demands.
- Reliability & Availability: On-call readiness and availability to be onsite four days a week in Sydney.
