Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Cook to join our team at Bellarine Lakes Care Home. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing well-presented and nutritious meals for our residents in a home-like environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare balanced and nutritious meals for our residents.
• Liaise with residents, families, and the care team to ensure residents' dietary, individual, and cultural needs are met.
• Support the efficient functioning of kitchen and catering services.
• Comply with all infection control and food safety procedures.
• Perform administrative duties related to the kitchen operation, including stock taking and food quality assessment.

Skill and Experience

• Previous experience in meal preparation and delivery in a similar environment.
• Certificate in Commercial Cookery or equivalent is preferred but not essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to solve problems independently.
