About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cook to join our kitchen team at Workforce Australia for Individuals. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality meals for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Production
    • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to meet the needs of our clients.
    • Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to a high standard.
  • Kitchen Operations
    • Assist the Chef in the planning and preparation of menus.
    • Ensure that all kitchen equipment is clean and well-maintained.
    • Work effectively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service.
  • Food Safety and Quality
    • Ensure that all food is handled and stored safely.
    • Monitor and maintain food quality standards.
  • Teamwork and Communication
    • Work effectively with the kitchen team to achieve common goals.
    • Communicate clearly and respectfully with colleagues and clients.
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation and presentation.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
