Torquay & Surf Coast Home Care Assistant

Are you seeking a fulfilling role that allows you to make a positive impact on the lives of seniors in the Torquay & Surf Coast Regions?

  • We offer flexible opportunities for personal care, domestic assistance, meal preparation, medication reminders, respite, shopping, transport, companionship, overnight sleepovers, and 24-hour live-in care.

You will be responsible for providing non-medical assistance to seniors in their own homes.

  • We provide comprehensive training by our experienced trainers.
  • Above award wages, paid travel time, and a travel allowance of 92c/km between clients are offered.
  • You will have regular clients within your local area and flexibility in setting your own hours, including school hours.
  • The 'Care Again' Program is available to increase confidence and skills (structured 12-week program for employees who have been out of the workforce for >12 months).

Please note the following requirements:

  • A clear National Police Check is mandatory.
  • An insured, clean vehicle and valid Driver's Licence are required.
  • A smartphone with internet access is necessary.
  • Covid vaccination is also required.

Demonstrated experience in caregiving and proficiency in a second language would be highly regarded.

  • No formal qualifications are required.
