Job Details and Role Overview

This role is situated in Heywood, a charming family-oriented town in Victoria known for its strong sense of community and connection. The location offers serene country living and proximity to the beach.

The facilities available include a new health clinic currently under construction which is expected to be completed later this year. In the interim, the existing facility has well-equipped consulting rooms shared among healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities and Required Skills
  • Deliver primary medical care encompassing diagnosis, treatment, and management of various health conditions.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, consultations, and examinations for patients of all ages.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and their families to promote health and wellbeing.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation adhering to best practice standards and regulatory requirements.
Essential Qualifications and Competencies
  • AHPRA General or Specialist Registration
  • Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
  • Degree Qualified Doctor
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to delivering patient-centered care and promoting community health and wellbeing
  • Desirable experience or interest in rural and remote healthcare
