The Department of Health is seeking an experienced Program Manager to join our team in a senior leadership role. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing several programs that support the efficient tracking of investments and coordination with stakeholders to ensure effective management and achievement of program outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain monitoring and framework documentation to support program management
  • Coordinate with key stakeholders to ensure effective management and achievement of program outcomes
  • Support service agreement and amendment window processes
  • Maintain a strong operational knowledge of state and national health funding models
  • Develop knowledge to effectively manage service agreements for a designated cluster of Health and Hospital Services (HHSs)

Requirements:

  • Extensive management and organisational experience at a senior level in a large, complex, and decentralised service delivery organisation
  • Strong skills in analysing and interpreting complex data, identifying emerging trends, and reconciling data from various sources
  • Ability to apply knowledge to local processes and documents
  • Advanced project management skills, including planning and executing large-scale, complex programs or projects
  • Strong understanding of health system operations, relevant legislation and policies, and health funding frameworks
