Urology Registrar Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Urology Registrar to join our team at Launceston General Hospital. This is a 12-month fixed-term, full-time position with daily management responsibilities for the Surgical Unit's patients and clinical activities within your clinical privileges.

The successful candidate will have supervisory duties overseeing Resident Medical Officers in clinical procedures and management. The role also involves participating in a well-established training program within an accredited, tertiary referral Urology unit.

This is an exciting opportunity for a medical professional to develop their skills and experience in urology while working in a busy hospital environment.

  • Fixed-term, full-time position
  • 76 hours per fortnight
  • 10 hours of paid, protected training time per fortnight

Additional Information:

This role involves on-call duties and requires the ability to work independently as part of a team. The successful candidate will be able to adapt to changing priorities and manage competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
