About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Kitchen Hand to join our team at Burpengary Community Club. As a Kitchen Hand, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, providing exceptional service to our members and guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Wash and clean utensils and dishes, and ensure they are stored appropriately.
  • Handle, sort, store, and distribute food items in accordance with our HACCP policy.
  • Wash, peel, chop, cut, and cook foodstuffs, and assist with preparing salads and desserts as required.
  • Sort and dispose of rubbish and recycling.
  • Organize the laundering of kitchen linen.
Requirements
  • Previous experience using a commercial dishwasher is essential.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills are required, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good personal hygiene and a pleasant, vibrant personality are essential.
  • Able to work under pressure and with minimal supervision.
