Are you a skilled HD Fitter looking for a challenging role in the underground coal mining industry? Do you thrive in fast-paced environments and take pride in your work?

As an experienced HD Fitter with Bis Industries, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a diverse range of underground mobile equipment. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our fleet and the safety of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct repairs and maintenance on underground heavy vehicles and mobile equipment to manufacturer specifications
• Diagnose and resolve maintenance issues promptly and assist in enhancing documentation and processes
• Embrace and support a preventative maintenance system while advising on potential improvements
• Ensure compliance with AS/NZS 3584 standards and oversee the ExDES Overhaul Process

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience working with underground mining equipment
• Trade Qualification – Certificate III in Engineering or Mobile Plant Mechanic
• Driver's License, RIIDES Units of Competency (AS/NZS3584.3), and preferable forklift operation and Dogman certificates
