Job Summary:

As a Plant Metallurgist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the optimal performance of our gold copper processing plant.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring equipment performance, analysing samples, and championing safe, efficient and cost-effective ore production.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with the operations team to optimise equipment performance
  • Effective metallurgical data management and analysis
  • Contributing evidence-based direction on changes to operating strategies
  • Overseeing performance and maintenance of on-stream analytical (OSA) equipment
  • Planning, undertaking and reporting on metallurgical sampling, testwork and projects
  • Demonstrating safety leadership and accountability in the plant
  • Engaging with process operators to improve their knowledge of the circuit
