About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Educator to join our team at YMCA Loganholme Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) Service. As an OSHC Educator, you will be responsible for the care and education of primary school children before and after school, as well as during school holiday periods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care and education to children in a safe and supportive environment
  • Assist in the planning and implementation of engaging and educational activities for children
  • Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the OSHC program
  • Participate in regular team meetings and professional development opportunities
Requirements
  • Hold a Certificate, Diploma, or Bachelor degree in the field of children's services or a related field
  • Have a current First Aid and CPR certification
  • Hold a Positive Notice Blue Card or be willing to obtain one
  • Have a strong understanding of the National Quality Framework and the Early Years Learning Framework
  • Be able to work independently and as part of a team
