Job Opportunity in Planning and Environment

A challenging role is available for a lawyer with experience in planning and environment law to work on a wide range of matters.

About the Role

The successful candidate will represent developer and land-owning clients, as well as local councils, on a variety of planning and environment law matters across Queensland.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide planning law advice, appeals and applications;
  • Offer environmental law and regulatory advice and litigation;
  • Deliver enforcement advice and litigation – including prosecutions; and
  • Prepare, review and draft infrastructure agreements and planning schemes.

Requirements and Qualifications

Candidates should have at least 6 years' experience in a reputable planning and environment practice in Queensland. A strong client base is highly regarded but not essential.
