As a seasoned construction professional, you will have the opportunity to lead on-site delivery of refurbishment and upgrade projects across a major Sydney university campus.

The Opportunity

 

Reporting to the Project Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing all on-site construction activities to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and to specification
  • Coordinating trades, subcontractors, deliveries, and site logistics
  • Maintaining strict adherence to build quality and architectural detail
  • Enforcing HSEQ compliance and fostering a safe, productive site culture
  • Conducting daily site inspections, toolbox talks, and subcontractor meetings
  • Liaising with consultants, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to resolve design and buildability issues
  • Contributing to look-ahead programs and reporting on site progress
About You

 

Key qualifications include:

  • A trade background in carpentry or equivalent, with solid technical knowledge
  • 5+ years of experience in a Site Supervisor role on refurbishment or fit-out projects within live environments
  • Proven ability to manage tight programs, intricate finishes, and coordination-heavy sites
  • A calm, solution-focused communicator who can lead from the front
  • Strong understanding of OHS legislation and construction methodologies
  • Eye for quality and the confidence to uphold high standards across all trades
