Job Title: Research Support Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Research Support Specialist to assist in conducting experiments, analyzing data, and contributing to research publications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing and executing laboratory experiments.
  • Analyzing experimental data and creating progress reports.
  • Conducting literature reviews and assisting with conference materials.
  • Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Maintaining accurate data records and contributing to database upkeep.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as chemical engineering or chemistry. You should have demonstrated experience in scientific methods, techniques, and protocols. Additionally, you will need strong organizational and administrative skills, with the ability to coordinate activities and prioritize tasks.

  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills with the ability to collate and report on data.
  • Skills in data analysis and reporting using software like Excel or other scientific tools.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a collaborative research team.
Desirable Skills

Apart from the essential qualifications, we are looking for candidates with previous experience in laboratory safety protocols, familiarity with instrumentation, and a flair for scientific writing.
