Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership, guidance, and coaching to team members to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Identify and meet the needs of internal and external customers, focusing on project outcomes.
- Develop tenders and bids, and manage work to budgets.
- Develop detailed engineering designs using appropriate methods, tools, processes, and software.
- Show drive and determination to meet short- and long-term goals.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and fault-finding skills.
- Attitude to drive innovation through all parts of the design and implementation process.
- Capable of detailed review and checking of others' work within own discipline.
- Demonstrated experience delivering process control systems for mining, water, and gas infrastructure projects.
- Degree-level qualifications in Electrical, Control Systems, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- RPEQ certification and CPEng.
- Advanced SCADA design and implementation skills, particularly for ClearSCADA, Citect, FT View, and others.
- Exceptional design and implementation skills for PLC and RTU platforms (Rockwell Automation, Schneider Electric, Siemens, and Emerson).
- Experience with Object-Oriented Programming languages such as Python, C++, Visual Basic.
- Application of industrial internet/Industry 4.0 to leverage the power of smart machines and real-time analytics.
