As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality engineering solutions and leading a team of engineers and designers to produce engineering deliverables to Verbrec and clients' standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and coaching to team members to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Identify and meet the needs of internal and external customers, focusing on project outcomes.
  • Develop tenders and bids, and manage work to budgets.
  • Develop detailed engineering designs using appropriate methods, tools, processes, and software.
  • Show drive and determination to meet short- and long-term goals.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and fault-finding skills.
  • Attitude to drive innovation through all parts of the design and implementation process.
  • Capable of detailed review and checking of others' work within own discipline.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience delivering process control systems for mining, water, and gas infrastructure projects.
  • Degree-level qualifications in Electrical, Control Systems, or Mechatronics Engineering.
  • RPEQ certification and CPEng.
  • Advanced SCADA design and implementation skills, particularly for ClearSCADA, Citect, FT View, and others.
  • Exceptional design and implementation skills for PLC and RTU platforms (Rockwell Automation, Schneider Electric, Siemens, and Emerson).
  • Experience with Object-Oriented Programming languages such as Python, C++, Visual Basic.
  • Application of industrial internet/Industry 4.0 to leverage the power of smart machines and real-time analytics.
