Health Support Officer

We are seeking a Casual Health and Security Assistant to join our team in the Tweed Valley.
This is a Category A position that requires evidence of vaccination to comply with NSW Health Occupational Assessment, Screening & Vaccination against Specified Infectious Diseases Policy (PD2024_015).
- The successful applicant will be responsible for providing clinical support services, including general assistance in wards, cleaning duties, transfers of patients, equipment and supplies at the facility, and undertaking security related duties as required or directed.
This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, caring for the people of the Northern Rivers.
As a Casual Health and Security Assistant, you will have the chance to develop your skills and experience in a variety of settings, including hospitals and community health services.
Key Responsibilities- Providing general assistance in wards, including transferring patients, equipment and supplies.
- Undertaking cleaning duties as required.
- Performing security related duties as required or directed.
- Australian citizen or permanent resident, or able to independently, legally live and work in Australia.
- Category A position. Evidence of vaccination to comply with NSW Health Occupational Assessment, Screening & Vaccination against Specified Infectious Diseases Policy (PD2024_015).
- Probationary period of six months from the date of appointment.
