We are seeking a skilled and experienced residential cleaner to join our team in Newcastle. As a key member of our cleaning crew, you will be responsible for providing high-quality cleaning services to our residential homes and units.

About the Role

As a residential cleaner, you will report directly to the maintenance supervisor and be responsible for ensuring that our residential homes and units are cleaned to the highest standards. Your duties will include:

  • Cleaning all fixtures and fittings, including ovens and appliances
  • Floor polishing and buffing tasks
  • Window cleaning
  • Operating steam cleaners and vacuum cleaners to clean carpets and drapes
  • Washing down and disinfecting bathrooms, kitchens, and wet areas
  • Lawn and garden maintenance

About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in residential cleaning services
  • The ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery used in cleaning
  • Physical fitness
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Self-motivation and the ability to identify and complete needed tasks without direct supervision
  • A White Card and proof of COVID-19 Vaccination status

What We Offer

  • Flexible working arrangements either 9-day fortnight or monthly RDO (based on hours worked)
