Job Opportunity: PR Professional

The Public Relations Executive plays a vital role in the PR and Communications team, overseeing daily activities related to client press, VIP, and influencer programming, event management, and liaison services.

This position requires an individual with excellent organisational and time management skills, capable of managing editorial requests and sample management independently, yet also within a team environment. The successful candidate must demonstrate strong communication and organisational skills, multitasking abilities, and an articulate understanding of clients' needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the execution of PR strategy by managing day-to-day tasks.
  • Collaborate with the PR Manager & Showroom Coordinator on independent projects.
  • Handle editorial requests from press under the guidance of the PR Manager.
  • Contribute to planning and execution of brand initiatives such as events, campaigns, editorial shoots, new product launches, and gifting initiatives.
  • Establish and nurture key talent, press, and influencer relations, including agents, stylists, and industry creatives.
  • Monitor media for press coverage and communicate successes to brands.
  • Maintain knowledge across all key industry and local events for key dressing opportunities, assisted by the Showroom Coordinator.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in Public Relations, preferably at a fashion agency or brand.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) - Adobe Creative Suite expertise is advantageous.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, ability to multitask, and adapt to shifting priorities while meeting deadlines.
  • Building relationships with media, influencers, and agents to enhance brand exposure and opportunities.
  • Creative and innovative thinking.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey statuses clearly and succinctly to internal and external teams.
