About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable individual to join our team as a Domestic Assistant at Regis Aged Care. As a Domestic Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing customised assistance with household tasks for each client, supporting them to maintain their well-being and independence in their own surroundings for as long as possible.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide services to the client in their home as outlined in the Care Plan, and regularly review the Care Plan to ensure you have an up-to-date understanding of particular client circumstances, needs and services.
  • Carrying out duties of general cleaning and support around the client's home.
  • Assisting with meal preparation.
  • You will monitor the client and their environment and report any issues, needs, changes or suggestions to your Client Services manager.
About You

We are looking for a warm and caring individual who prides themselves on delivering customer service excellence. You will have a positive and practical attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to work autonomously. You will also require a current driver's licence, access to a reliable, insured and registered vehicle, and confidence and ability to use smart phone technology (including email and video conferencing).

Requirements
  • Professional References, current year flu (when available) and a valid Police Check (under 6 months old)
  • Proof of the right to work lawfully in Australia
