Speech Therapy Professional

This position is a vital part of our healthcare team, providing specialized care for patients with speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive disorders.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to develop and implement effective treatment plans, utilizing their knowledge of speech pathology principles and practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify areas of need and create personalized treatment plans.
  • Deliver high-quality therapy services in a skilled nursing facility setting, collaborating closely with nurses, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and physicians.
  • Supervise Clinical Fellows (CFYs) and support staff, ensuring adherence to established protocols and state guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation, prioritizing confidentiality and data integrity.
  • Educate patients, caregivers, and families on effective therapy strategies and safe swallowing techniques, promoting empowerment and independence.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Active SLP license in good standing.
  • CCC-SLP or Clinical Fellow eligibility (CFY).
  • Valid driver's license or reliable transportation.
  • Experience working with geriatric populations or in skilled nursing settings is preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and patient-care skills are essential for success in this role.
