Key Responsibilities:- Ensuring that audit procedures are performed in accordance with the relevant manual.
- Developing an understanding of client risks, controls, and industry trends to inform objective setting and engagement scoping.
- Conducting fieldwork, evaluating findings, and communicating outcomes to clients and stakeholders.
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring the appropriateness of performance tests.
- Reporting results in a clear, logical, and precise manner.
- Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience.
- CA/CPA qualification (or working towards completion).
- Minimum three years' experience in a public practice firm, preferably in an auditing role.
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess risks and make informed decisions.
- Excellent interpersonal and consultative skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with peers and clients.
- Strong report writing and presentation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Proactive and autonomous, with the ability to view engagements holistically.
- Apply professional scepticism to all scenarios.
