As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for working on real projects, gaining hands-on experience in project delivery and management. Job Description

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work across various business units, including Engineering Construction (EC) and Maintenance & Industrial Services (M&IS). In the EC Division, you will be involved in large-scale projects spanning civil construction, structural steel fabrication, electrical and instrumentation work, and renewable energy infrastructure. In the M&IS Division, you will contribute to a wide range of services including the planning, management, and execution of mechanical and electrical maintenance services, shutdowns, civil and infrastructure works, fixed plant maintenance services, access solutions, specialist coatings, and rail maintenance services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with the Project Manager to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet safety and quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
  • Manage sub-contractors across various disciplines to ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Assist in preparing project estimates, tender submissions, and developing project schedules.
  • Support all phases of the project lifecycle, including tendering, planning, execution, and HSE compliance.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Australian or New Zealand Citizenship or Australian Permanent Residency or suitable Visa with working rights.
  • Must be studying or have completed an Undergraduate Degree (Bachelor's) in Australia or New Zealand.
  • A Construction Management or Engineering degree (Bachelor or higher) within the following disciplines: Mechanical, Civil & Structural, Mechatronic, Chemical, Electrical, and Electrical & Instrumentation with previous work experience through vacation work or similar.
Salary

We offer a competitive salary package, including a base salary of $80,000 - $100,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition, you will receive a range of benefits, including professional development opportunities, flexible working arrangements, and a comprehensive remuneration package.
