Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated professional to join our team as a Social Worker, South East Region. As a key member of our wellbeing workforce, you will play a vital role in supporting students from Prep to Year 12 with their mental health needs.

Your primary responsibilities will include implementing strategies to improve student non-attendance, school refusal, and addressing the personal and academic impacts of suspension and exclusion. You will also provide holistic support to students and families, recognising barriers to engaging in education and providing professional social welfare assessments and interventions.

In this rewarding role, you will have the opportunity to work with students and families from diverse backgrounds, making a positive impact on their lives and well-being.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A Tertiary degree in Social Work with AASW registration eligibility is essential.
  • You will also require a current Blue Card or be willing to obtain prior to commencement.
  • A Driver Licence is necessary for this role.
