Sonographer Opportunity in Melbourne

Aussie Locums is seeking a skilled Sonographer to join their team at Sandringham Radiology, located in Melbourne's bayside suburb. As a Sonographer, you will be working in a state-of-the-art facility with four ultrasound rooms, utilising advanced Philips EPIQ scanners.
This opportunity provides a unique chance to gain valuable experience in a well-regarded radiology practice while enjoying the convenience of working close to home. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound examinations across various specializations, including Obstetrics, Paediatrics, Abdominal, Renal, Pelvic, MSK, Small Parts, and Vascular ultrasound.
Key Responsibilities- Perform high-quality ultrasound examinations using Philips EPIQ scanners.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate interpretation and reporting of ultrasound findings.
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records and ensure proper documentation of ultrasound procedures.
- Provide compassionate care and support to patients, addressing any concerns or questions they may have during the ultrasound process.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent technical skills, strong communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care. A flexible contract is offered, providing the possibility for an extension.
