As a Phlebotomist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient operation of Patient Services by providing high-quality care to patients during phlebotomy, specimen collection, and administration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cultivate strong relationships with patients and provide exceptional customer service.">
  • Manage specimens in the pre-analytical stage to ensure quality samples for testing.">
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve excellent patient outcomes.">
  • Take full responsibility for your work and contribute to training and supervision of staff as needed.">
  • Maintain knowledge of National Association of Testing Authorities (NATA) standards.">

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • ">
  • A Certificate III in Pathology Specimen Collection.">
  • Demonstrated participation in front-line supervision.">
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.">
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.">
  • Proficiency in Laboratory Information Systems.">
  • Current National Police Clearance (NPC) and Working With Children Check (DHS).">
