At Novotel Brisbane South Bank, we're passionate about providing exceptional hospitality experiences for our guests. As a Housekeeping Professional, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our rooms and public areas are clean and welcoming. Key responsibilities include:

Responsibilities:

  • Clean guest rooms, storage areas, and corridors to the highest standards.
  • Restock guest supplies and advertising materials in bedrooms and bathrooms according to hotel guidelines.
  • Report any lost property using our established procedures.
  • Perform regular cleaning tasks as assigned.
  • Handle guest laundry in accordance with our hotel's policies.
  • Use and maintain equipment with care, reporting any defects to the supervisor.
  • Ensure all department equipment is kept in excellent condition.
  • Participate in regular inventory checks for equipment.
  • Adhere to security procedures to safeguard guest keys and rooms.
  • Understand and follow proper usage and storage of cleaning agents as per health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • A genuine passion for creating memorable experiences for our guests.
  • Previous experience in similar roles within a hotel environment.
  • An interest in learning and developing your career with industry professionals.
  • A high standard of personal hygiene, grooming, and presentation.
  • Excellent communication skills with fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Flexibility regarding work availability is essential, as we operate 7 days a week, including public holidays.
  • Monday to Friday availability from 8 to 3:00 pm is a must.
