Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for the centre's educational programs, taking into account child development and early education principles.
- Collaborate with the teaching team to design and implement engaging learning activities that cater to diverse needs and abilities.
- Maintain relationships with parents through regular updates, workshops, and events, fostering a sense of community and cooperation.
- Manage budgets, resources, and personnel effectively, ensuring the centre operates within established guidelines and best practices.
- Stay updated on industry trends, research, and legislative changes, applying this knowledge to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
We are seeking an experienced Early Childhood Director who can bring passion, expertise, and a commitment to delivering high-quality education and care. The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience as an Early Childhood Director or equivalent role.
- A Diploma of Early Childhood or a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field recognized by ACECQA.
- Proven experience in an Early Childhood Director role in a childcare setting, demonstrating leadership and operational expertise.
- Strong knowledge of child development, early education principles, and relevant legislation.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with staff, families, and external partners.
- Capacity to work collaboratively, lead by example, and drive positive change within the organisation.
