About the Role

This is a first-line Product Compliance & Risk role, embedded in the APAC Product Squad. You will work closely with our control owners across APAC to identify and design effective controls, document them accurately, and ensure they are implemented consistently prior to launch.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Identify and design effective controls to mitigate regulatory risks, working closely with our product and risk teams.
  2. Support control framework owners to build risk-based controls testing programs required to meet APAC regulatory requirements.
  3. Work with our product and risk teams to identify areas where APAC regulatory requirements can be met by leveraging existing global controls and optimize for utilization of existing controls where possible.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of financial services regulations across multiple APAC markets.
  • The ability to analyze and interpret regulatory obligations and apply them effectively in the context of control design and effectiveness.
  • Experience in a compliance, legal, risk or control function within financial services.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a collaborative spirit.
