Disability Support Specialist Opportunity

Make a meaningful difference in the lives of people with disabilities as a dedicated support specialist.

As a Disability Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in enhancing the well-being and independence of individuals with disabilities. You will provide person-centred support to clients, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met. This includes assisting with daily tasks, outings, and appointments, as well as maintaining a safe and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualised support to clients, promoting their autonomy and dignity.
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as personal care and household chores.
  • Accompany clients on outings and appointments, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and colleagues to ensure seamless support services.
Requirements:
  • Certification in Disability Support or equivalent experience.
  • Current Working with Children Check.
  • First Aid/CPR certificates (current).
  • Full and clean driver's license.
  • Punctuality, reliability, flexibility, and empathy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
