Support Specialist for Queensland NDIS Participants

We are seeking an experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our professional team in Queensland. This role requires delivering positive behaviour supports to participants living in the region.
The successful candidate will have current experience working with the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and expertise in The Positive Behaviour Support Capability Framework.
This position involves supporting clients, their families, and/or carers to identify needs through assessment and person-centred planning. You will also develop, deliver, and evaluate evidence-based support plans within a complex support space.

Key Responsibilities:
- SUPPORT OUR CLIENTS (NDIS PARTICIPANTS), ALONG WITH THEIR FAMILIES AND/OR CARERS, TO IDENTIFY THEIR NEEDS THROUGH ASSESSMENT AND PERSON-CENTRED PLANNING
- IDENIFY MEANINGFUL GOALS AND PRACTICAL STRATEGIES UTILISING THE POSITIVE BEHAVIOUR SUPPORT CAPABILITY FRAMEWORK, WITH A COMMITMENT TO ELIMINATE RESTRICTIVE PRACTICES, IN THE HOME AND COMMUNITY
- DEVELOP, DELIVER, AND EVALUATE EVIDENCE-BASED SUPPORT PLANS WITHIN A COMPLEX SUPPORT SPACE
- ENSURE INDIVIDUAL PLANS REFLECT OUR CLIENTS' GOALS, PASSIONS, AND STRENGTHS
- BUILD THE KNOWLEDGE, CAPACITY, AND STRENGTHS OF THOSE WHO SUPPORT OUR CLIENTS - FAMILY, CARERS, FRIENDS, ETC

- CURRENT SUITABILITY WITH THE NDIS COMMISSION AS A REGISTERED BEHAVIOUR SUPPORT PRACTITIONER
- EXPERIENCED PROVIDING POSITIVE BEHAVIOUR SUPPORTS IN QUEENSLAND TO PARTICIPANTS LIVING IN QUEENSLAND
- DEMONSTRATED ABILITY TO WORK POSITIVELY IN A MULTIDISCIPLINARY TEAM
- OUTSTANDING COMMUNICATION, INFLUENCING, AND INTERPERSONAL SKILLS
- CONFIDENT COMPUTER SKILLS
- SOUND WRITING SKILLS
- CURRENT DRIVERS LICENCE AND OWN RELIABLE VEHICLE
Earn Up To $90,000 Per Year:
Salary negotiable based on experience. Includes generous salary packaging options and benefits.
