We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Hydrogeologist to join our team in Melbourne. This senior consultant role involves developing site hydrogeological conceptual models, preparing risk assessments, and completing technical reports.

About the Role
  • Develop comprehensive site hydrogeological conceptual models and conduct thorough groundwater risk assessments.
  • Prepare high-quality technical reports and proposals for clients, outlining project objectives, methodologies, and expected outcomes.
  • Oversee junior staff and collaborate on projects across Australia, ensuring effective teamwork and knowledge sharing.
  • Contribute to winning work by identifying and converting opportunities with key clients, leveraging industry expertise and market knowledge.

To be successful in this role, you will have 5-8 years of experience in the industry, including time spent within a consultancy group, and possess:

  • A thorough understanding of VIC groundwater legislation and guidelines, enabling informed decision-making and compliance.
  • An excellent analytical assessment ability, detailed focus, and strong communication skills, facilitating effective collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
  • Demonstrated experience working with and mentoring junior staff, fostering growth and development within the team.
  • Australia Citizenship or rights to work in Australia, allowing seamless integration into our workforce.
