Child Care Senior Officer Opportunity

This role offers the chance to lead a team and make a difference in a close-knit community.

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced child care professional to join our team in Minjilang. The successful applicant will be responsible for developing and leading a culturally responsive early childhood program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing a high-quality early childhood program that meets the needs of children and families.
  • Leading and managing a team of early childhood educators to deliver exceptional educational outcomes.
  • Building strong relationships with the community, including local Indigenous leaders and families.
  • Working collaboratively with other council teams to achieve shared goals.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing a team in an early childhood setting.
  • Strong knowledge of Indigenous cultures and practices.
  • Certificate III or higher in First Aid and Food Safety.
  • Current NT Driver's Licence.
  • Ochre Card (or ability to obtain).
