Job Title

We are seeking an experienced Lawyer to join our team in Williamstown, Victoria.

About the Role

This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of matters, with a strong focus on building and construction law, while also providing scope to develop and apply your skills across broader areas of practice.

  • Advise and act for clients in predominantly domestic building disputes (some commercial building advice/disputes), contract drafting, regulatory compliance, and related litigation.
  • Appear in VCAT, Magistrates' Court, County Court and Supreme Court matters.
  • Work closely with builders, contractors, homeowners, and industry stakeholders.

You will have the opportunity to manage a busy file load independently while working as part of a close-knit team. This is a client-focused role that requires excellent communication skills.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 5 years PAE, with proven experience in building & construction law.
  • Strong advocacy, negotiation, and drafting skills.
