Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, implement, and maintain scalable and high-performance microservices using Golang and Java.
  • Ensure the responsiveness and efficiency of applications, identifying and resolving any performance bottlenecks.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, architects, and leadership, to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring the reliability and availability of the services.
  • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, and ensure seamless integration with other systems.
  • Conduct unit testing using JUnit, and ensure code quality through secure code scanning.
  • Participate in the CI/CD processes, automating deployment pipelines, and ensuring smooth releases.
  • Utilize Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration of applications.
  • Work with cloud platforms like OpenShift to deploy and manage microservices.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proficiency in both Golang and Java, with extensive experience in writing production-level code.
  • Deep understanding of microservices architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
  • Experience with the Spring Framework for building Java-based microservices.
  • Familiarity with OpenShift for managing and deploying microservices.
  • Strong experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools.
  • Proficiency in unit testing with JUnit.
  • Familiarity with tools and practices for secure code scanning.
  • Experience with Docker for containerization and Kubernetes for orchestration.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 10+ years of experience in software development with a focus on Golang and Java.
  • Proven track record in developing and maintaining microservices in a production environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred:

  • Experience in cloud-native development.
  • Knowledge of additional programming languages or frameworks.
  • Experience with other container orchestration platforms.
