Job Title

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team in a full-time capacity.

This role plays a vital part in monitoring, reporting, and rectifying issues within product, hygiene, and food safety throughout the facility.

  • Ensure the quality and safety of products by inspecting against specifications and standards.
  • Interact with management, production, and supervisory personnel to achieve desired quality levels.
  • Collaborate with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with established guidelines.
  • Participate in internal and external audits to maintain high standards.

Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar QA role within the meat industry is preferred.
  • Successful completion of required competency levels and any other qualifications required by statutory authorities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with colleagues.
  • Basic supervisory skills to lead and motivate team members.
  • Demonstrable problem-solving skills to address complex issues.
  • Knowledge of workplace health and safety to ensure a safe working environment.
