We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Trainer and Assessor to join our team at Emeco Group. As a world leader in maximising the performance of heavy earthmoving equipment, we are committed to providing our employees with the best possible training and development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise with site personnel to develop an annual training schedule and ensure that all training needs are met.
  • Deliver Nationally Accredited units of competence and assess personnel to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
  • Identify opportunities to upskill personnel and implement initiatives to increase productivity and efficiency.
  • Liaise with site management to ensure that training processes and procedures are aligned with company policies and procedures.
  • Facilitate employee training and assessments, and maintain accurate records of all training activities.
  • Participate in internal and external contractual audits required by the Registered Training Organisation.
  • Maintain currency of qualifications and relevant industry experience.
  • Assist in setting up the organisation's new Training Facility and associated Training Packages.
  • Conduct HRW Licence Training and Assessments only in the HRW Classes for which you are accredited.
  • Training and upskilling in production critical equipment.
Requirements
  • Current Drivers Licence
  • High Risk Work License (HRWL)
  • TAE40122 / TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment OR TAE40110 (including TAELLN411 and TAEASS502 or equivalent; OR hold Diploma TAE
  • Ability to influence and communicate effectively across all layers of an organisation and with any stakeholder group
  • High level organisational and communication skills
  • Experience supporting maintenance / operations and use of heavy mobile equipment frequently used in the mining industry (preferred)
  • Able to apply business, financial and technical strategic thinking concepts
  • Ability to develop presentations and present to a group or a workplace
