Job Summary

C.H. Robinson is seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Coordinator to join our Trade Management team in Melbourne. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating the import process for a major retail client, leveraging our global forwarding expertise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the purchase order, inventory management, and shipping process for all orders for the client.

  • Manage external relationships with 3rd party stakeholders, such as warehouses and transport carriers.

  • Proactively report product availability issues and maintain strong working relationships with key suppliers.

  • Support reporting, inventory parameters, and product life cycle management.

  • Process sales orders, maintain purchase order status, and shipment tracking information.

  • Liaise with overseas suppliers, 3PL warehouses, and global forwarding agents.

  • Manage external relationships with 3rd party stakeholders, such as warehouses and transport carriers, and provide ongoing support to internal teams.

  • Produce ad-hoc reporting on functions within the supply chain network.

  • Maintain the in-stock position, ensuring the right stock is in the right place at the right time to support business initiatives.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or graduate degree or equivalent.

  • Minimum 2-4 years logistics or supply chain experience/purchasing/buyer experience in a retail/FMCG environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualification in logistics or supply chain business discipline.

  • Proven track record of dealing with customers and being client-focused.

  • High attention to detail, critical-thinking, flexibility, and problem-solving skills to adapt to ever-changing tasks and customer needs.
