About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Pastry Chef to join our team at dnata catering. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for maintaining a high level of quality and consistency in our culinary products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook a variety of international hot and cold meals for our customer airlines.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective food production.
  • Ensure correct stock rotation and minimize product wastage.
  • Prioritize and manage workload to meet cold soak requirements and pickup times.
  • Prepare complex and exotic dishes to specification.
  • Provide feedback to improve the production process and exceed customer service expectations.
  • Comply with hygiene, safety, quality, customer service, and performance standards.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated success in a similar role.
  • Trade qualified Chef with at least 3 years' experience in a high volume food production environment.
  • Advanced knowledge of HACCP / QSAI / Food Safety and OHS.
  • Prior experience in a commercial kitchen environment preferred but not essential.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work across a 7-day rotating roster.
