Job Opportunity: Senior Heritage Consultant

At a leading heritage consultancy, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our growing team in Perth.

The Role:

  • Lead and manage heritage projects, ensuring high-quality outcomes through effective project management and collaboration with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Provide expert advice on heritage conservation, adaptive reuse, and heritage impact assessments, utilizing knowledge of Western Australian heritage legislation and best practices.
  • Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to business development activities, including client relationship management and proposal preparation, to drive growth and success.

About You:

  • A relevant undergraduate degree, preferably in heritage conservation, history, architecture, or a related field.
  • Post graduate qualifications or extensive experience in heritage conservation is highly desirable, demonstrating expertise and a deep understanding of the subject matter.
  • Significant experience in heritage consultancy, with a strong track record of delivering innovative solutions and excellent results.
  • Proficient knowledge and ability to apply statutory heritage legislation from both the Heritage Act 2018 and the Planning and Development Act 2005, ensuring compliance and best practice.
