Electrical Maintenance Specialist

As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our power station. Your responsibilities will include planning, coordinating, and executing electrical maintenance tasks to support plant performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out routine and non-routine electrical maintenance to ensure safety and compliance with relevant procedures and standards.
  • Participate in the Permit to Work system as a competent permit acceptor to ensure safe execution of daily work activities.
  • Contribute to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) performance by complying with company systems, policies, and mandatory training requirements.
  • Foster effective communication and teamwork to build positive relationships with stakeholders and maintain a collaborative work environment.

Requirements:

  • Certified Victorian electrical trade license and a valid 'C' Class Driver's Licence.
  • Proven experience in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), Permit to Work systems, and supporting plant shutdowns and minor project work.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify, investigate, and contribute to the resolution of plant faults, failures, and incidents.
  • Sound understanding of HSE procedures and Management of Change processes.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting technical documents, drawings, and procedures, with strong computer skills including Microsoft Office.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and flexibility to adapt to changing operational requirements.
