As a seasoned legal expert, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the fintech landscape. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Australian financial services law and regulation, including consumer credit, data privacy, and AML/CTF frameworks.
">- Develop and implement robust commercial contracts that drive business growth while minimizing risk.
- Provide strategic counsel on regulatory compliance, ensuring seamless execution of product development and go-to-market initiatives.
- Collaborate with external experts to navigate complex matters and drive resolution.
- Design and deliver comprehensive training programs for business teams, fostering a culture of compliance excellence.
The successful candidate will be an innovative thinker with excellent stakeholder management skills, capable of balancing competing priorities and driving results-oriented solutions.
Requirements:- 6-10 years' PQE experience in-house or in private practice, with a strong background in fintech, payments, or consumer finance.
- Proven track record of negotiating high-stakes commercial agreements and developing effective compliance programs.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to distill complex information into actionable insights.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to build trust with stakeholders at all levels.
