The Riverland Mallee Coorong Local Health Network is seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Officer Casual to join our team. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our health unit facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Perform general facility maintenance tasks, including rubbish collection, minor carpentry, painting, plumbing, mechanical, and grounds maintenance.
- Ensure the health and safety of staff, patients, and visitors by maintaining a clean and safe environment.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify and address maintenance needs.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Monitor and report on maintenance activities, including budgeting and resource allocation.
- Relevant trade qualifications or experience in facilities maintenance.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor and work at heights.
- Current National Police Certificate (NPC) and immunisation requirements.
